Industrial dynamics and economic growth in health-care context. Evidence from selected OECD countries

Purpose The economic shock posed by the current COVID-19 outbreak brought out a worldwide public health emergency with close relationship between industrial marketing practices, level of society and its development. purpose this study is to analyse dynamics in care their impact on growth status. Design/methodology/approach To empirically investigate health, authors use data set drawn from 29 selected Organisation for Economic Co-operation Development (OECD) countries over period 2000 2019. Using panel regressions, health-care industry measured terms status, expenditure, sales pharmaceutical products, number persons working coverage private insurances. Fixed effect random regressions are used estimate model. Findings Overall, results suggestive nexus context – both interacting improving each other. As quality market enhances, economy grows richer status population improves considerably. Practical implications support markets OECD countries, policymakers need formulate long-term policy that addresses all social individual determinants health. Originality/value best knowledge, first provide better understanding along different dimensions.
